What is commonly known as the Seagram Distillery, this facility was completely surveyed by Beacon in 2001 for the first time as a single property. To date it is the largest ALTA survey we have completed. The unique project involved a railroad through the center of the property, a creek/levee adjoining and several buildings on streets that had never been vacated.
Working with the Owner, Buyer, Town of Lawrenceburg, Title Company and attorneys, title of the property was cleared and the operating distillery was transfered to the new owner.
In 2008, Beacon worked with another buyer to update the ALTA. The purchaser received a substantial reduction in the typical ALTA fee by using Beacon to update the ALTA instead of hiring a new firm to start from scratch.
